Michael Halling

Michael Halling is Professor of Finance at the University of Luxembourg. He holds a Ph.D. in finance from the University of Vienna and a PhD in computer science from the Vienna University of Technology. His work was published in leading journals including the Journal of Finance, the Review of Financial Studies, and the Journal of Financial Economics and was covered in the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times. Michael's research ranges from empirical asset pricing, over questions of trading in international markets to empirical corporate finance. He is a member of the scientific board of IQAM Invest, an asset management firm.
